Entrust Datacard
The Vice President and GM Financial Instant Issuance (FII) is accountable for the strategy and execution for Entrust Datacard’s instant issuance solution segment (line of business).
In this role, the VP will be responsible for driving the overall growth of the solution segment through direct management of product management and product marketing functions, collaboration with engineering, customer operations and marketing communications teams, and direct strategic engagement with sales and channel organizations.
The VP will perform the accountabilities detailed below and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities: Strategic Ownership
· Leads and owns the development and execution of the strategic growth plan for the FII solution segment.
Participates in business development activities, and presents data driven recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team.
· Creates and drives vision; to encompass business, product and go to market strategies to profitably grow the segments.
· Develops, owns and maintains segment roadmaps; which includes product/solution development, market messages, target audiences, other business activities and goals to be achieved.
Ensures roadmap alignment with other Entrust Datacard marketing initiatives and communication programs
· Collaborates with sales to execute the segment roadmap plans to meet Entrust Datacard goals.
Is accountable for revenue target achievement in both solution segments.
· Owns management of product development efforts including participation in portfolio management processes
· Develops a comprehensive approach for winning in the market place including solution and sales positioning models with compelling value propositions.
· Owns execution of FII segment market and campaign initiatives
· Measures and reports effectiveness of programs used to promote solution segment Communication
· Executive level communication skills required with the ability to be persuasive and articulate necessary response for all relevant audiences and stakeholders.
· Acts as the segment evangelist and Entrust Datacard spokesperson including partnership with sales for customer engagement, primary contact for press and industry analysts, and speaking at conferences and trade shows.
· Own, create and implement a highly impactful solution segment communication plan in partnership with the Marketing Communications team – delivery of solution messages to all relevant audiences using appropriate communication mediums (written, presentation, video, etc.)
· Drives relationships with key vertical market participants including customers, product and services partners, industry associations and standards organizations Market Intelligence
· Develops and establishes key partnerships with internal and external customers and establishes credibility as a leader with networks in the industry associations to understand market trends and to anticipate current and future customer needs
· Develops a deep understanding of issues and trends in banking globally, including potentially disruptive technologies and leads the communication of market intelligence to internal stakeholders.
· Analyses market trends (e.g.
market price points, volumes, competitive dynamics and market share) and drives data driven business solutions.
People Leadership
· Provides strong organizational leadership to the authentication team.
Hires, grows and retains talent to ensure delivery to goals and objectives
· Provides timely updates to Senior Leadership Team on progress of segment strategy goals and objectives
· Demonstrate strong leadership in matrix organization.
Builds and develops strong partnerships with the functional areas to influence and lead high performance cross-functionally.
In partnership with Human Resources and Functional Leaders, implements effective talent planning for determining segment needs.
Talent planning includes evaluating current and future needs for hiring, developing or restructuring positions for organizational effectiveness across the entire business segment
· Leads through the demonstration of Entrust Datacard’s values.
Ensures the authentication solution segments operate efficiently.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in a business or marketing leadership role within a large scale technology company
· Experience in banking and enterprise business
· Experience in sales, channel sales or Field Marketing
· Experience in customer decision processes including operations, retail, marketing and/or IT
· Experience in driving and delivering strong organizational results
· Demonstrated success in effectively communicating at all levels of an organization
· Experience with executive level communications skills, demonstrated success in professional written publications and presentations.
· Demonstrated success in evaluating, hiring and developing talent
· Proficiency of written and verbal English language.
· Able to travel 50% or more within the US and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Advanced degree such as Masters of Business Administration
· Strong global knowledge with experience internationally and a proven ability to work cross-culturally
· Demonstrated success in leading, growing and driving change
· Knowledge/experience in Financial, Banking or Payments
· Led or sponsored the launch and monetization of a Cloud Solution through to market
