In the role of VP Controller, based in Milwaukee you will be part of the Global Finance team reporting to Tracey Joubert, Chief Financial Officer.
This role works directly with the Audit Committee and the Audit Committee Chair and works closely with FP&A and Investor Relations to report performance on a monthly basis.
The Responsibilities: Direct the organization’s accounting functions, monthly financial close processes and fiscal year end reporting Leads the organization’s finance and control strategy Leads, directs and oversees the financial health of the Company Actively participate in planning, approving, and implementing strategies, initiatives, and policies Leads finance that is responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation for SEC reporting purposes; AR, AP, accounting and general ledger functions; and Working Capital and Cash Flow requirements.
Responsible for all financial reporting, financial audits and SEC filings Responsible for creating and maintaining all financial and control policies Maintains and improves financial and other information systems and internal controls to assure proper stewardship of assets and assure accuracy and adequacy of accounting records and documentation Provides M&A due diligence and integration support as necessary Recruits, retains and develops finance talent to maintain an organization with breadth and depth sufficient to attain the company’s objectives AOP & LRP alignment (Sales and Marketing Leadership, Global Finance, Strategy) Align with Strategy, Finance on AOP and LRP targets The Other Qualifications: You have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of GAAP and have a very strong financial acumen You are a strategic thought leader and have the credibility to advise leaders You can communicate complex issues effectively with peers, LT and other key stakeholders.
You are able to make well-balanced business decisions in the best interest of the enterprise.
You can work under pressure with challenging deadlines You have 15 years of progressive finance experience You have experience in public accounting and preferably in CPG, alcoholic beverages You provide talent management leadership and strong capability development You think strategically and are able to codify the long-term plan in area of expertise You are a visible change agent and transformational leader You operate efficiently and effectively in a matrix environment You demonstrate effective collaboration skills
