Customer Service SpecialistDestin, FL 32541, USA Req #48 Friday, August 6, 2021The Customer Service Specialist (CSS) is a key customer service role, the “face” of UFB.

Providing friendly and efficient services for many frontline bank functions: interviewing and explaining bank services, customer loan transactions, opening checking and savings accounts, money orders, cashing checks, managing teller drawers, ATM balancing, vaults, etc.

You will also promote and educate customers on available products and services, answer incoming phone calls, and assist management as needed.Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:Comply with all policies, procedures, disclosure, regulations, and consumer privacy requirements.Perform all duties in relation to the Bank Secrecy Act under the guidance of the BSA Officer.Answer customer questions and explain available services.Educate customers on UFB procedures and available services.Perform teller duties.Refer customers to appropriate bank personnel to meet their financial needs.Interview customers to obtain information needed for opening accounts or renting safe-deposit boxes.Collect and record customer deposits and fees, and issue receipts using computers.Investigate and correct errors.Execute wire transfers and sell cashier’s checks.Verify money received or sent for deposit in the vault at designated times.Issue initial (and replacement) safe-deposit keys to customers and admit customers to vaults.Balances vault/branch daily, maintaining predefined cash limits.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Lifting items weighting up to 10 pounds on a consistent basis.

Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 80% of the work period while operating equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, etc.Working Conditions:Typical office environment.Extended viewing of computer screens.Periodic travel between locations may be required if designated as a CSS.Hours per week are usually 32-40, Saturday rotation required.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by associates assigned to this position.
