We are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant who is searching to do what they’ll love income and indirect tax compliance!

Do you have at least 1 year of income tax and/or sales tax experience at a Big 4, National or Regional public accounting firm?

The qualified professional has at least 1 year of Tax experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe’s concept.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business is strongly preferred.

This role is based in our office in Monrovia, California.The Tax Accountant is responsible for:Providing support for Federal and State income tax compliance.Sales tax compliance.Property tax compliance.Business licenses.Income tax, sales tax and property tax audit support.Prepare and file the monthly, quarterly, and yearly census reports.Working collaboratively with other departments.The qualified individual has:A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business.1 to 2 years minimum of income tax compliance and/or sales tax experience at a Big 4, National or Regional public accounting firm.

Experience with tax depreciation and maintaining multiple tax books in a Fixed Asset or ERP software.
