Manager of Brand Finance, the Sr.
Financial Analyst is a member of the Wellness Brands Finance team within Nestle Health Science.
The Sr.
Financial Analyst will be instrumental in building and managing high-performance finance capabilities, including monthly close, Sales and P& L forecasting, business analysis, planning & strategic projects across the portfolio.
This role will be highly-visible and will require strong financial modeling skills (with high proficiency in Excel) as well as good communication and collaboration skills.Responsibilities include:Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes including monthly reporting packagesAnalyze and provide insights for actual vs plan, forecast, prior year & other comparison reportingComplete financial business cases for new product development, with a heavy attention to detailProvide financial support through analytics and expertise to all budget owners across the teamAbility to sift through and analyze data and present insights in a concise and structured mannerResearch, track and summarize key data including, trends, profitability and expense analysesAssist in the development, consolidation and analysis of the annual plan, forecasts, and strategic planMonitor product write-offs or inventory risks and proactively assist in mitigation effortsIdentify and implement sustainable process improvements that can be incorporated into ongoing standard work within the organizationAd-hoc assignments as neededQualifications2+ years of Finance or Accounting experience, ideally within a CPG or consumer healthcare companyBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business and/or AccountingMust be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Power Point, etc.Advanced Excel modeling skills with confidence to manage large reporting deliverablesStrong analytical, communication and time-management skillsAbility to interpret data, identify and communicate potential opportunities and risksSolid understanding of accounting principles (accruals, reserves, prepaid accounts, etc.)Team player mentality with strong collaboration skillsHyperion and Tableau knowledge a plus
