Qualifications: CPA License current and in good standing Five to eight years or more of related experience in public accounting Demonstrate ability to plan and organize projects Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Advanced knowledge of tax laws Expert ability to apply tax and accounting knowledge to client problems Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports Proficiency with research tools Team player with ability to balance multiple tasks Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship Job Requirements: Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Provide and manage excellent customer service Be aware of the client’s journey Be aware of the client’s challenges Mentor and train other staff members by providing guidance and serving as a professional role model Review complex federal income tax returns, final review and sign Proactively interact with clients to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements Coordinate with partners regarding staff and firm matters Develop new client relationships Evolve existing client relationships Promote and demonstrate a sound understanding of firm purpose, brand promise and core values Identify problems, propose and implement solutions to firm related matters
