Tax Accountant

Small, growing, well established CPA Tax Preparation Firm in Gillette NJ with a great working environment is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Tax Preparer on year-round basis, with flexible hours. Minimum 2 days/week year-round! Opportunity for growth and advancement. The ideal candidate will have 4 years or more professional experience in preparing complex income tax returns for individuals (CPA not required but preferred) (Some Audit experience helpful). Send resume and per diem or salary requirements Including tax software experience (i.e. ProSystem, Ultra Tax, Intuit, Lacerte etc.) and Tax Research experience.

We work flexible schedules in a beautiful suburban office building with a parking lot. Hours are flexible to meet each employee’s individual needs, including home and children’s issues. We generally begin the day at 10:30 AM to allow for personal tasks in the morning.

Qualifications:

4 years or more professional income tax preparation experience (complex income tax returns) including ability to perform tax research

Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent Status not required but preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent attention to detail with a high quality for accuracy

Prior Audit experience preferred

Highly proficient with Thomson Reuters UltraTax

Competitive salary commensurate with experience

Pay: $29.00 – $46.00 per hour
