Sonder is building a lean, high performing Strategic Finance team that will play a critical role in shaping the long-term business strategy of the company.

We are looking for a Manager to help lead this highly visible team that interfaces closely with both external and internal stakeholders.

Sonder’s Strategic Finance team is a critical function at Sonder that is responsible for: Board and investor reporting, long range forecast and scenario analysis, corporate development / M&A, and fundraising.

In June of this year, our team led Sonder’s $190M Series E funding, valuing the company at $1.3 billion.

In this role, you will report to our VP, Strategic Finance and will be expected to help lead our ongoing fundraising efforts, including working closely with our Manager and Associates on the preparation of investor materials and analysis as we progress towards a potential IPO.

You will also help drive our financial forecast and scenario analysis and will work cross functionally with internal stakeholders to validate and test our forecast assumptions.

Our ideal candidate is a highly analytical, independent thinker, who leverages business judgment, supported by analysis, to drive critical strategic decisions.
