Staff Accountant – Real Estate Investments

Our client is a publicly traded, Real Estate Investment Trust looking to add a staff accountant to their team. The primary responsibilities of the role involve corporate and property full-cycle accounting. The group is located in Franklin, TN and will sit in the office full-time.
Responsibilities
- Monthly and quarterly close procedures
- Supporting portfolio asset managers with accounting needs
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
- Assist with audit schedule preparation
- Prepare lease abstracts
- Prepare and bill tenants for monthly rent and operating expenses
Qualifications
- 0-2 years experience in full-cycle accounting, experience with lease accounting a plus
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
