The Role

This position will be an integral part of the accounting organization and will product into the Finance Manager.

The role will require extensive communication across the organization and you’ll get the opportunity to build relationships with the finance, sales and HR teams.

The Finance Manager is also hoping that this role will develop more responsibilities as the business continues on it’s impressive trajectory and that the successful individual will develop into a Senior Accountant or Finance Analyst as they progress.

Duties:

Manage the payroll process including monthly commission, quarterly commission and bonuses for the sales team Support month-end close process for balances Monthly journal entries and account reconciliations Calculate monthly sales commission, making necessary adjustments when needed Ensure that the payroll is complete accurately and audited in line with company policy Liaise with the sales, legal and HR teams to answer any queries Assist and help prepare for financial audit Manage expenses and reimbursement requests Ad hoc reporting projects to support the Finance Manager

What you need

2+ years working as part of a finance team Excellent communication skills Understanding of commission and payroll structures Some exposure to accounting duties Proficient in Excel

What we’d like to see

Experience using commission calculation systems, i.e Xactly or similar Previous SaaS experience Startup / Scaleup experience
