Overview of the Staff Accountant Role:
• Hands on with reconciliations, journal entries, and other accounting functions.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly invoices to funders
• Assist with Month End & Year end closing
• Enter cash receipts
• Act as a backup for accounts payable
Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant Role:
• Blackbaud Financial Edge is the system they use – if you’ve used this system APPLY!
• Experience in the Accounting profession of 4-6 years is preferred, but not necessary.
• Intermediate Excel skills including Pivot Table experience and V Lookup experience
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
