The Staff Accountant analyzes financial information and prepares financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss or other financial activities within an organization.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• One to three years accounting experience preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Other Position Specifications
• Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software
• Demonstrated record of responsibility
• Extremely detail oriented
• Customer Service Oriented
• Motivated, goal oriented and persistent
• Maintain Company confidentiality
• High level of initiative with the ability to handle stressful situations
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives
• Process and submit high volume and high value wire transfers to multiple funding sources

• Assist in resolving AP issues
• Periodically monitor AP invoices to ensure they are accounted for and posting to General Ledger
• Correct and reconcile discrepencies in intercompany accounts
• Process lease booking
• Establish and adjust sundries accounts
• Initiate wire transfers
• Perform high volume reconciliations
• Process payment to funding sources
