The newly created Staff Accountant position is the second full-time position within our Accounting team and reports directly to our Accounting Manager.

This individual will be involved in every aspect of the accounting and finance processes.

This is a unique role, affording the opportunity to learn the business and play a key role in the continued growth of our company.

A successful candidate will exhibit exceptional organizational and time management skills; possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and show a keen interest in an entrepreneurial opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Routine Bookkeeping
– Perform data entry of daily sales, AP, AR, etc
* Financial Statement Preparation
– Assist in preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements
* Payroll
– prepare, review and process bi-weekly payroll
* Financial Planning & Analysis
– Develop and produce periodic management reports, projections, and business plans
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Experience

* Prior work experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Proficient with MS Word and Excel
* QuickBooks Pro experience preferred
* Education: Minimum of Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related major OR 3 years related experience and/or training
