Staff Accountant

nnThe ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas.

It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting and audit team.

A typical day will include: audit sports betting transactions, reconcile related accounting transactions, prepare certain accounting schedules, and maintain/update internal control documentation.

nn nn n nn nnRole and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)nn Perform Daily sports wagering revenue audit Download daily sports wagering reports from various sources Prepare and post daily sportsbook transactions and reconcile accounts balances Post daily credit card and a/p invoice transactions.

Prepare and distribute weekly operating reports for certain external parties (NFL & NBA) Responsible for credit card, debit card, and ACH disputes/chargeback research and resolution Additional duties as assigned by supervisor nn n nn nnPerformance Requirements: (Knowledge, skills, and abilities)nn Knowledge of intermediate level accounting Skilled in primary office 365 products, such as excel, word, and outlook Ability to work in an environment that is highly regulated and requires precision work Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment Ability to research problems and challenges to determine and implement an appropriate course of action nn n nn nnExperience Requirementsnn Two years of progressively increasing accounting/Casino auditing experience.

experience in sports Wagering industry preferred.

nn n nn nnEducation Requirementsnn Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent of experience required.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.

nn nn nnDesirablesnn Team-oriented, flexible, and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
