This company is located in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma region and is offering a dynamic, mulit-faceted long-term temporary-to-full-time opportunity where effort is rewarded.

As Staff Accountant, your duties will include preparing monthly and year-end closings, journal entries, fixed asset maintenance, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation.

The majority of time spent will be dedicated to producing Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.

During the monthly close, you will be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting.

You’ll also communicate with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, take part in compliance, and look over schedules for the reporting processes.

How you will make an impact
– Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments
– Ad-hoc tasks and special projects, as needed
– Keep up fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation
– Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner
– Perform month end close, journal entries with minimum supervision
– Maintain intricate journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll
– Maintain monthly payment schedules
– Support implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
– Assist in monthly financial close workbook preparation, including annual closing process
– Create monthly statement analysis to be used for management reportings Job Requirements:
– Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
– Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
– Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
– Recent and relevant accounting experience
– Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
– Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
– Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
– Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills
– Strong attention to detail
– Foundational knowledge in ATX Tax Software
– Bookkeeping Functions experience desired
– QuickBooks experience
– Expertise in Income Tax Preparation
– BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred
