This role is responsible for: (1) the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual income tax provisions, (2) preparation of annual tax return workpaper packages, and (3) other income tax related tasks with minimal direction.Essential duties and responsibilities:Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual income tax provisionsPreparation and filing of quarterly estimated Federal and state income tax paymentsPreparation of income tax return packages for paid tax preparersReview Federal, state and city income tax returnsRespond to Federal, state and city income tax noticesPreparation of income tax expense and cash flow budgetsResearch income tax issues and assist with income tax planningSupport Income Tax audits thru compilation of information for What we look for Mastery of tax accounting (IFRS knowledge a plus)Proficient in current Federal and State Corporate Income Tax LawProficient in Microsoft ExcelProficient in Microsoft WordExcellent oral and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of CCH IntelliConnect and AnswerConnect a plusWorking knowledge of Oracle a plus3-4 years public accounting experienceExperience Preparing and reviewing income tax provisions, federal and state tax returns for C Corporations and Single Member LLCsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
