Job Description Responsibilities Responsible for IS Sales reporting, analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
Reviews and interprets activity for the purpose of determining past performance and/or to project future results; shares information with organization and aids in strategic planning.
Works closely with IS Distribution Management in interpreting results and leads projects across the IS Finance group as assigned.
Proactive in identifying and tackling business issues.
Works to ensure business issues are resolved; often acting as a liaison between Distribution and the various Financial/Actuarial support areas.
Desire to understand business over and above specific duties and provide a high level of financial analysis understanding to aid in solving problems in unique ways.
Assists department in implementing new analytic tools and processes.
Shares high-level knowledge with others to promote further development of the department and other IS area personnel.
Recommend and lead implementation of changes to processes to achieve efficiencies through the use of technology.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
Eight years of experience, with degree.
In-depth knowledge of accounting/finance.
Ability to dive into unknown areas, learning quickly and independently.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Presentation level written & verbal communication skills; comfortable in interacting with all levels of organization.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Advanced computer skills; strong Tableau and/or Power BI a plus.
Preferred Qualifications Understanding of investments and insurance products.
Working Conditions Temporary work from home environment.
Occasional travel.
