Will provide Executive team and Controller insight into financial trends and report on operating performance while assisting in preparation of internal and external monthly financial reports, annual operating plan, and rolling forecasts.
This position will develop and maintain financial models and play an active role in the organization by offering financial partnership to the business.
This position also plays a key role in assisting in both internal and external audits.
This role has high visibility from both the executive team and the operations team.
Principle Duties And Responsiblities Assist in analyzing and interpreting operating results as they affect the financial position of the Company.
Perform detailed analysis of actual cost, analysis of trends and investigate opportunities for cost savings.
Contributing member to cross functional teams on key projects for SPX Transformer Solutions.
Develop, maintain, and support operating budgets and investigate variances to budget and prior month/quarter/year results.
Assists in coordination, preparation and analysis of the annual plan, strategies and rolling forecasts.
Assist in cash management and treasury activities, including monitoring and managing funding requirements, bank reporting, line of credit management, cash forecasting Performs miscellaneous financial analysis/special projects as needed.
Perform month/quarter/year close functions, including maintenance of the general ledger(s) and perform assigned reconciliations.
Maintain and monitor project revenue status and shipments.

Required Education And Experience BBA in Accounting or Finance Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and other office technology Preferred Education And Experience CPA, CMA, MBA or completed course work at the graduate school level preferred Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management and SAP preferred Knowledge of complex accounting transactions (i.e, commodity hedges, LIFO, POC) 5 years of experience in a broad range of finance, cost accounting and manufacturing related processes About SPX SPX Transformer Solutions, Inc.
