Sr. Corporate Accountant – Financial Reporting

Responsibilities: New hybrid opportunity based in Billerica, Massachusetts for a Financial Reporting Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Finance Team.

Reporting to the Head of SEC/ External Reporting, the Financial Reporting Senior is a key member of the Finance team with primary responsibility for the management and preparation of SEC and other financial regulatory filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K and the annual Proxy.Assist with coordination and preparation of the financial data utilized in the preparation and review of periodic SEC 10-Q, 10-K; 8-K and definitive proxy statement filingsAssist in preparation of the consolidated financial statements, footnotes and disclosures and documentationWorks closely with FP, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, business units, senior management, and other external parties (attorneys, auditors) to accurately prepare and timely file SEC documents.

Assist with non-GAAP reporting with business units and entities.

Ensures consistency of messaging across SEC filings, press releases, and investor presentations on a quarterly basis.

Assist in preparation of relevant financial information including: Segment reporting and earnings per share analysis.Assist in preparation of equity award disclosures, including stock based compensation.

Collaborate to ensure all reports comply with applicable FASB and SEC regulations, professional standards, and organization policies.Prepare and assist with applicable government surveys and compliance forms.Research and summarize various accounting and SEC reporting issues and questions that arise at the corporate and group levels.Assist with the preparation of PowerPoint presentation materials to executive managementAssist with managing the relationship with the external auditors and the completion of the annual audit and quarterly reviews.Assist in the development, maintenance and testing of the Companys finance and accounting control policies and procedures.Assist the Corporate Finance Teamin driving internal control initiativesPerforming special financial and other ad hoc projects as needed.Work effectively across the Company’s functional organizations.

Promote effective lateral communication and coordination across groups, both internal and external to the Finance function, to improve efficiency and achieve desired results.Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance;CPA preferred.Minimum 3-5 years Accountant work experience including direct experience in Corporate Finance and Accounting.

Big Four accounting/audit work experience preferred.

CPA preferred.

Strong knowledge of MS Office products
– Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Access proficiency desirable.SAP and consolidation software (such as BPC, Hyperion Infor) experience highly desirable.Proficient knowledge of US-GAAP and SEC Rules.Broad and strong general understanding of all aspects of Finance and Accounting.Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and details effectively with the ability to manage non-negotiable timelines.Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of individuals, both inside and outside the company, in a professional manner demonstrating effective verbal/ written communication skills.

Strong work ethic along with advanced organizational and problem solving skills.Operates at the highest standards of business ethics, honesty, and personal integrityExcellent verbal, written, computer, and interpersonalcommunication and presentation skills.Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required.U.S.
