The Gig…

The Sr. Controller is responsible for managing and overseeing the preparation and review of monthly financial reports, monthly revenue and expense forecasts and the annual budget for NCS’s Core Systems division. This position will work side-by-side with sales and the plant operations team to oversee the collection and analyzing of financial data and provide financial reports for the purpose of supporting management in driving revenues, reducing costs and increasing liquidity.

What You’ll Do…

People management:

• Direct and oversee activities of direct and indirect reports to ensure financial results and analyses are communicated accurately and timely

Financial reporting:

• Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting is completed accurately and timely with proper elimination and consolidation entries
• Track and report out KPIs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Serve as a business partner to the division leaders to accelerate action items to completion

Liquidity management:

• Provide analysis and support to ensure cash management and liquidity goals are met
• Establish and monitor processes and procedures to reduce the cash to cash cycle
• Work with sales to ensure all invoices are sent and collected on timely
• Partner with plant operations to achieve inventory turn goals

Annual budget and monthly forecasting:

• Oversee analysis and support for the annual budget and monthly forecast
• Ensure budget and forecast reporting is completed accurately and timely

Pricing and business analytics:

• Review market trends and opportunities for sale of services, cleaning fluids, equipment and related products
• Oversee business studies on past, future and comparative performance and utilize forecast models to analyze the business and recommend opportunities
• Review information within financial systems and compare against historical data and forecasted sales. Identify variances, and suggest corrective action
• Evaluate sales discounts and margins; provide suggestions for improvement
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop presentation content for use in customer meetings.

• Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies

What You Need…

• Minimum of 7 years of financial management, financial reporting, financial analysis or related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Office, PowerPoint and BI Tools
• Well informed of current financial subjects and business environments
