Sr. Accounting Manager-100% remote!!

Overview of the Sr. Accounting Manager role:

• Assist in management of accounting departments including manufacturing, inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll.
• Possess advanced knowledge levels of analytical, modeling and data manipulation.
• Oversight of the payroll and payroll team
• Assist in creating and improving processes and internal controls
• Training and development of the finance department including a development of the non-professional and professional staff
• Research and resolve accounting and tax filing problems and errors. Make recommendations for correction.
• Serve as back-up for other accounting manager positions, as needed for coverage and assist in all areas of accounting as needed.

Preferred Qualifications for the Sr. Accounting Manager role:

• 5+ years’ experience in a progressive position with supervisory experience
• BS in Accounting is a Must, CPA is a must
• Experience in the fishing industry is a plus
• Payroll Experience
• Non-Profit experience is a plus
