Senior Accountant – Real Estate
Real Estate client with properties all over the country has requested our assistance to find a Senior Accountant. This role has high level exposure to senior leadership and works closely with CFO and controllers.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- M/E, Q/E, Y/E close
- Journal Entries
- General Ledger balance sheet accounts
- Bank account reconciliations
- Assist with preparing financial reports for senior leadership
- Review financials for compliance with GAAP
- Assist with budgets and forecasts
- Assist with financial analyses of financial performance for senior leadership
- Financial analysis and special projects
- Assist with audits
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Requirements for the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of Accounting experience in Real Estate, Property/Asset Management
- Solid understanding GAAP
- Ability to interact with individuals at all levels in a company
- Highly motivated, desire to grow and take on more responsibility/leadership
- Strong Excel
- Excellent analytical skills
