Senior Manager, PBM Finance Reporting

Job Description
CVS Health has an exciting opportunity to join our PBM Finance Enablement team as Sr Manager, PBM Finance Reporting.

As the Sr Manager, PBM Finance Reporting you will be responsible for the operations of two (2) Reporting Teams that create, monitor, and automate reporting suites that support the Prompt Pay, Pharmacy Payment Compliance and Encounters operations, including operational, ad-hoc and regulatory reporting.

You will be responsible for partnering with leadership to expand upon the tools available to the team in effort to continue to build synergies and efficiencies that will best support operational processes.

You will lead all aspects of reporting for both internal and external clients.

You will manage staffing and priorities, to ensure the teams are focusing their efforts on the most critical tasks and look for ways to further automate processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Continue to build upon existing reporting and analytics infrastructure, building out processes, tools, and capabilities

• Manage team’s task list, which tracks recurring Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual and Annual reports

• Respond to requests for Ad-hoc reporting, ensuring most impactful reports are being prioritized and executed

• Actively manage and assess staffing levels and capacity to maintain high-quality delivery

• Proactively lead Reporting & Analytics delivery and approvals for multiple concurrent resources, tracking completion of action items, resolving escalated issues, and mitigating risk while monitoring financial performance of team automations

• Build relationships with Account Teams and with key Legal leaders by providing Reporting leadership representation

• Manage intake process, working with internal and external customers to understand reporting needs and designing solutions to meet those needs

• Ensure reporting, data, and automation requests get routed to the appropriate team (ECD or PP+PPC)

• Work in tandem with Process Improvement experts or individually to identify automation, visualization, and other opportunities across reporting

• Work with the business to identify and collect PBM Finance-related KPIs

• Leverage exceptional communication skills including data presentation, using data to help “tell the story”

• Handle, communicate, and escalate issues (as needed) in a timely manner so as not to impact delivery

• Ensure project benefits are clearly identified and tracked

• Continuously evaluate / evolve processes, best practices, and tools around data capture and reporting

Required Qualifications
8 or more years of experience leading reporting teams
5 or more years of experience in a leadership role in a fast-paced environment
5 or more years of experience leading reporting initiatives

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare industry, including health insurance, PBM or pharmacy services
Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
Experience in highly regulated industry and compliance environment
Experience with highly complex, inter-connected systems and business processes

Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree preferred
