This role is part of the IT Process and Reporting team.
This team acts as a center of excellence for IT delivery processes & is responsible for designing end to end IT delivery processes that tie together disparate ones, speed throughput and boost transparency.
We foster process adoption in collaboration with users through training and continuous improvement & drive innovation, leveraging a common technology platform, in ServiceNow.
Additionally, we integrate process and financial insights into a central IT Business Management advisory capability.
This role, Senior Manager – Project Financial Management , reports into the Associate Director who has overall accountability for managing project financials, within the ServiceNow PPM module for the IT Portfolio.
It provides Best in Class Project Financial Management Leadership, for Successful Execution of IT Strategy through: Acting as the bridge between the PMO & Finance to ensure alignment Provide actionable insights to stakeholders on Project Financial Performance Empower key stakeholders with financial data Leverage ServiceNow & integrations to drive efficient processes Lead & Enhance the Project Financial Analyst Service Detailed Position Responsibilities: Partner with process owners, PMO & Finance to bridge the gap between Finance & project delivery process Executes the process that prepares, analyzes, interprets, and processes project financial actuals Advances the financial training of new users & creates knowledge objects to supplement knowledge Assists with the management of financial components of the PPM module through developing new requirements, collaborating on the functional design of the process, and testing the outcomes Executes on the accuracy & timely delivery of reports to: IT Senior Leadership Team, PMO, Finance Partners closely with Finance to ensure the project financials are reconciled on a monthly/quarterly basis Desired Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Management, or related field Three to five years business experience; Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated experience preferred Experience with Project financials (e.g., Budgets, Actuals, Forecasting) Possesses strong analytical & financial reporting skills Ability to demonstrate Accounting/GAAP knowledge Experienced with enterprise resource platforms like SAP or Oracle and understanding project accounting or leveraging project management tools for financial forecasting Strong facilitation & meeting management skills; Strong communicator via all media Manages multiple sometimes conflicting priorities, challenges the status quo Acts with integrity and develops credibility through an action-oriented approach; demonstrates accountability for results with an ability to navigate and thrive in a complex environment Around the world, we are passionate about making an impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.
