To manage the Oracle Cloud EPMA systems that support the Company’s business processes related to the monthly, quarterly, and annual system close processes and associated budgeting and forecasting cycles. This includes system maintenance, user support, data governance policies and processes, and compliance with controls.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the implementation, evaluation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Oracle EMP Cloud Suite of products (EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, and EDMCS) related to the accounting and finance departments.
• Collaborate with the Finance & Accounting Leaders to support the External Reporting, Management Reporting, Budgeting and Planning, Line of Business Reporting, and Allocations Reporting.
• Provides financial systems functional/technical advice by participating on special project teams and providing leadership, information, and analysis
• Provides leadership and guidance to the financial systems team, ensures appropriate job results by selecting capable talent and providing continual training, effective performance planning, timely feedback, coaching and counseling.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the accounting system design, particularly as it relates to data flow.
• Manage the EPM team to support applications, enhancements, and projects to assign tasks, direct and assure the timely completion of the work.
• Manage and oversee the data integrity, including metadata and EDM experience, including Chart of Accounts and hierarchy structure across the organization.
Create and deliver documentation for each phase of SDLC including but not limited to creating user requirements.
documentation, system impact assessment, test plan, test scripts, traceability matrix, training plan, communications plan, end user guides, RAID logs, status reports, data migration plan, etc.
• Analyze problems, formulate solutions and alternatives, decide on the solution, and identify the work task that must be completed to achieve expected results.
• Act as a liaison between various Accounting, Finance, project management, and IT teams.
Participate in the initiation and planning phases by gathering project data and requirements and providing input on project activities and timing.
Utilize project management tools and disciplines to complete project assignments and meet deadlines.
• Help identify and resolve project–related risks and issues.
Participate in the evaluation of the project by giving input for post-project evaluations and lessons learned.
Undertake and manage special projects and other reporting needs as required (i.e. SOD remediation, re-implementations, acquisition integrations, etc.)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 7 Year / Bachelor’s Degree
• Bachelor’s degree in Management & Information Systems or Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance
• Strong experience with EPM systems and the ability to lead teams supporting those systems
• Experience working at a company with multi brands businesses
• Experience delivering effective finance systems solutions, including process, technology, and organizational considerations
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
• Must have 7+ years of demonstrated success in accounting/financial systems management with progressive responsibilities
• CPA preferred
• Capacity to translate a technical/system challenge into a business conversation that leads to an actionable solution
• Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences such as leaders and contributors
• Ability to influence, build relationships, understand organizational complexities, manage conflict, and drive changes
• Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills, including proficiency in finance analysis.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and priorities, including large projects of a financial and accounting nature such as cost allocation model development, new tool selection, or adoption of new functionality within existing systems
• Understanding of GAAP accounting and its application to business activities
• Creative, flexible, strategic thinker, able to work in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic work environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to adapt to differing audiences.
• Ability to manage through influence and build strong cross-functional relationships.

• Sound understanding of current finance practices, including broad financial expertise at both strategic and operational levels
