We are looking for a new colleague to join our NA Finance & Strategy Team at our location in Livonia, MI.

Directly reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the coordination of all financial activities within the region.

You will be the lead financial liaison for the Region CFO, coordinating efforts across divisions, including consolidation of plans and forecasts, standardized assumptions, and managing information.

You will work with various executive management members, along with regional Division Heads, global corporate HQ, to develop, interpret and implement the financial framework related to strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting to drive business results.

Responsibilities
Integrated Business Planning
Works with Senior Management and Region Division Controllers to determine strategic objectives and identify opportunities to meet these goals.
Partners with Region Division Controllers to provide input and guidance on business issues and to provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the line(s) of business.
Delivers presentations to executive and senior management teams about financial planning and analysis.
Prepares a robust operative plan; ensuring Region and Group expectations are met.
Supports Region CFO and other Senior-level Executives.
Engages in a business-partnering role at the corporate level to deliver positive business results.
Plans and oversees consolidated budgets and long-range plans.
Leads the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Analyzes impact of external and internal factors on the business and progress towards financial goals.
Management Reporting
Prepares the monthly financial review package to management, including commenting on deviations; in strong collaboration with Region Division Controllers.
Provides high level performance “dashboard” quality reports to senior management or executive team.
Contextualizes, analyzes and reports on key drivers of business and company performance, including monthly and quarterly results and variance analysis.

Investment Analysis
Prepares the financial calculations needed to support the submission of business case development and corporate investment applications, using various project evaluation KPI, eg.

ROI/NPV/IRR.
Management of the team
Supervises team of analysts who are assigned business units, including compiling and analyzing all financial information.
Provides training and opportunity to up-skill the finance/operational teams as assigned.
Creates a culture of openness, effective challenge and inquiry among the FP&A team and the broader company

Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role
Strong financial systems knowledge and experience with implementation procedures
Strong ability to work within a matrix organization
Must exhibit strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, direct and indirect, reports through positive influence
Strong insights on industry trends and initiatives regarding digital processes and systems (e.g., out-of-the-box thinker)
Ability to navigate through a VUCA environment with strong change management skills.

Must be comfortable with ambiguity and have strong organizational change management skills
