Senior IT Auditor

IT Auditor Compensation: $100000.00 to $150000.00 yearly Kevin Eckhardt (kevin.eckhardtroberthalf.com) is searching for a Senior It Auditor.

• Scope, plan and execute IT operational audits and SOX.

• Stay apprised, engaged and trained in emerging technologies and technology risks to feed into the development of IT Risk assessments and audit programs.

• Lead the audit execution for IT and SOX audits by coordinating with process owners to identify and test controls; validating process documentation; and analyzing IT and business information to identify improvement opportunities.

• Work with the company’s external auditors and federal regulators to support their annual audit and examination efforts.

• Drive project delivery by completing audit work papers, reviewing compensating controls and offering recommendations on risk mitigation.

• Manage the follow-up activities for remediation of issues identified and communicated to management.

• Build effective relationships with IT management, and other risk functions throughout the company.

• 15% travel required.

Job Requirements:
• 5 years’ experience from a Fortune 1000
• Familiarity with IT processes and controls; Sarbanes-Oxley; use of COSO/COBIT and IT auditing techniques.

• SAP experience is a strong plus.

• At least one professional certification is strongly preferred, such as CISA, CIA or equivalent
