JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Financial Analyst is a highly visible role and will be responsible for driving reporting and analytics efforts globally. This role will be an integral part of the organization and will provide strategic insights by building new reporting & analysis for Division Presidents, Commercial Vice Presidents, Officers of the Company, and Finance. The strong partnership with Finance Leadership in this role will drive development of new processes enabling Medline to continue its double digit growth. Strong communication skills and attention to detail will be a must in this role as the Senior Financial Analyst will drive several projects congruently.
There is currently an effort at Medline to implement Global Finance Reporting Tool and this role will be an integral part of this project. This role will work with the core team on the implementation and validation of this new tool to enable Real-time Global view of Medline%26rsquo;s performance.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and distribute Monthly Finance reports to FP&A, Finance Leadership team and Business team while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
- Drive assigned Project areas and actions under Odyssey for implementation of Global Finance Reporting Tool
- Heavily utilize Alteryx and other data analysis tools for process improvement and better visibility of Medline Results
- Demonstrate Strong Partnership with FP&A (US and International), Corporate Accounting and Finance Leadership to drive Reporting and Analytics Projects for better business insights
Job Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor%26rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
Relevant Work Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years Finance experience with proven track record of increasing responsibility
- Strong working knowledge of SAP, Business Intelligence, Oracle and Alteryx
- Proficiency in Finance analysis and accounting with attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Strong analytical skills and experience with Process Improvement Projects
- Proven ability to partner with FP&A, Business and Leadership to accomplish complex projects
