Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team and help drive activities related to budgeting, reporting and variance analysis, performance measurement, planning and forecasting, and general financial modeling.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of the annual and quarterly budgets, financial projections, and rolling forecasts
• Build and review financial models and projections (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)
• Develop and deliver monthly operational and financial reporting and analysis
• Understand forecast to actual variances and provide meaningful analysis
• Translate financial data into business insights and corporate strategy into financial models
• Create dashboards and reports using reporting and planning software
• Distribute and communicate data to management and other stakeholders
• Assist in rolling out Adaptive Planning software
• Develop creative solutions to problems and help drive standardization, automation, and continuous process improvement

Requirements :

• 4-6 years of experience working in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, Big 4 Advisory or related roles
• 4+ years of substantive work experience in financial reporting and analysis as well as budgeting/planning
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Accounting, Finance, Economics, CIS, etc.)
• Ability to prepare 3-statement financial projection models
• Foundational understanding of GAAP and accounting
• Advanced Excel modeling skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines
• Experience with Adaptive Planning or similar CFP&A or CPM software
• Experience with business intelligence and data analysis tools a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
• Experience with acquisitive and/or growing businesses is a plus
