Position Summary The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for analyzing the company’s monthly financial results (including KPI’s) and variance analyses as compared to budget and last year.
The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will also be responsible for developing and implementing a monthly G&A expense review process, with detailed analysis by division and department.
This individual will work cross-functionally to inform management of significant variances to budget or last year.
The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for completing the company’s annual budget and for building a new monthly forecast process.
Job Responsibilities Support in the completion of the company’s monthly operating review (MBR) package Develop and implement a monthly G&A expense review process Own the budgeting and forecasting processes and use them to drive business decisions that deliver on our financial commitments Effectively communicate the company’s business results and plan performance to leadership, providing insights and analysis of performance drivers Lead development and implementation of appropriate analytical tools and data to drive improved growth and margin improvement Develop working capital and key performance metrics to maximize operating income, revenue growth, cash flow and ROIC.
Maintain financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus; Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business preferred Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate finance, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen Detail-oriented professional, with a penchant for ‘peeling back the onion’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
