Description The Sr Financial Analyst will support the Financial Planning and Analysis processes and requirements across the Global HR organizations.
Global HR support both US and OUS organizations with approximately $203MM in expenditures and 849 headcount, ensures compliance with financial policies, prepares management analysis of actual vs.
benchmark results, prepares financial analysis and implements process improvements for direct areas of responsibility.
Provides accurate and timely financial analysis and planning deliverables to meet both Corporate Admin and AbbVie Corporate FP&A requirements.
The Sr Financial Analyst interacts with all levels of finance and business management.
Key Responsibilities Include: Prepares and develops monthly flash/close activities, as well as annual Plan, LRP and LBEs as required, including P&L, headcount, balance sheet, expense and capital using planning systems and incorporates review changes of both financial and operational management Prepares variance analysis for each planning cycle and management reporting schedules under direction of Manager Works directly with Accounting Shared Services contact on monthly close process and financial reporting to ensure complete, accurate and timely monthly actual results, including variance analysis commentary for P&L, headcount and balance sheet.
Understands monthly results and communicates issues vs.
