Job Description
Reporting to the President, North America, the Senior Director will lead the Finance function for the North American business unit, including financial planning & analysis, credit management, capital expenditure analysis, and retail finance for the region.

As a member of both the North America and Group Finance Leadership Teams, success requires close collaboration with your peers and central Finance teams.
The Sr.
Director will have a dotted line to the Senior Vice President, Group Finance.
The role:
Planning and Forecasting
Lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles and monthly reporting and annual budget cycle for North America region
Develop and prepare the 5-year model based on the Strategy and associated initiatives within the long-term strategy for the North America region
Business Partnership
Lead DTC financial analysis for the region including KPIs for retail stores, ecommerce sites, and wholesale partners
Support development of business cases on new projects and initiatives; specifically, around support for new retail stores and lease renewals
Analyze complex financial information to develop models and provide recommendations to Regional Leadership and Global Finance Team
Monthly Reporting
Gather, analyze and report financial results and insights to Regional and Global Finance leadership
Team Management and Leadership
Capital Expenditure
Work collaboratively with senior management in the preparation of their departmental and capital asset submissions for budgets and forecasts
Credit Management
Provide advice and guidance on all accounting matters including financial systems, record keeping, analysis, and reporting
Internal Control Environment
Implement and manage internal controls in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley with respect to financial policies, processes, and procedures, including remediation activities in coordination with internal and external auditors
Process Management
Identify process improvement opportunities and develop and implement recommended solutions
About You:
University degree in Business/Accounting/Finance
15+ years of financial and accounting experience at different levels and in different roles in accounting, FP&A, internal controls, and financial operations
10+ years of experience in managing teams and in transformational leadership company transition, cultural change, etc.
Experience working in multi-national publicly traded direct-to-consumer companies; retail industry experience a must
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), MBA, or equivalent certification an asset
