Primary responsibilities of the Senior Compliance Accountant:
- This Senior Compliance Accountant role manage all aspects of compliance in the accounting department (accounting, fixed assets, internal control, and tax).
- Oversight of sales documentation
- Maintain tax documentation
- Assist with the handling of tax notices/recommendations
- Manage the transactions related to the company’s fixed assets
Preferred Qualifications for the Controller:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant tax experience and GAAP accounting
- Familiarity with Avalara and Sage would be a plus
- Preferred multi-state exposure
