Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist SUMMARY: Expand your professional portfolio as a Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist with MAU at Volvo Car in Summerville, SC.
As the Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for performing PX related duties on a professional level and works closely with the People Experience Team to support both salaried and hourly employees working in the Charleston Plant.

REWARDS: Competitive pay based on experience Health Benefits Great hour 1st shift 401K Direct-hire opportunity REQUIREMENTS: 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field 5 years of experience in compensation program administration Demonstrated knowledge and application of compensation theory, concepts, or practices Demonstrated competence in analytics Experience with ADP, HRIS and MS-Office application-strong Excel skills Project management competency and experience Experience with automotive manufacturing facilities (preferred) RESPONSIBILITIES Administer the pay step progression for hourly employees Make recommendations based on labor market and related trends to ensure compensation objectives are achieved Develop techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data designed to drive results Collaborate and develop working relationships with leadership on compensation related initiatives such as design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of compensation programs Present, influence, and advise leadership on compensation matters and credibility Develop documents and procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Partner with Payroll to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations Facilitate administering yearly/mid-year reviews, bonus and merit increases Audit current compensation program Participate in industry wide compensation surveys on behalf of the company Assist with inputting, updating, and ensuring accuracy of employee data maintained in SAP/ADP Assist with EEO-1 annual reporting; maintain records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations Support all HR related trainings, projects, events and processes as needed Conduct employee benefit seminars and new hire orientation Handle benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution Revise and reissue all communications material on benefits from time to time Advice and counsel management and employees on existing benefits Responsible for oversight of health and retirement benefits administration, ensuring that service level requirements are met Liaison with the outsourcing company to make sure all enrollments, carrier connections and benefits are updated and correct MAU Headquartered in Augusta, Georgia and founded in 1973, MAU Workforce Solutions is a multi-faceted business solutions provider offering professional recruiting, commercial staffing, outsourcing, and human resources services.
