nn nn Responsible for providing advice and issuing policy guidelines on technical accounting issues for New York, Cayman and subsidiaries’.

nn nn Researching, observing emerging accounting guidance.

implementing new accounting standards, supporting discussion of local accounting policy issues with internal /external auditors, as well as reviewing financial statements and disclosures for subsidiaries.

nn nn Reporting to the Sr.

Manager Financial Reporting, this position is responsible for research, analyses, writing, and dissemination of information in accordance with prescribed IFRS and U.S.

GAAP.

Position is fully knowledgeable on day-to-day activities and requires input only on complex issues.  nn nn Primary focus is the delivery of defined outputs, while at the same time developing knowledge of the broader context in which work is performed.

May have management responsibilities for a small team, or may be a single contributor with project management responsibilities.

nn nn This position is expected requires working independently , but work is reviewed and approval is required by the next level of manag ement nn nResponsibilitiesn Prepare & update U.S.

GAAP & IFRS accounting policies Transaction Review & Accounting Analysis Emerging Guidance Tracking, Implementation & Presentation Accounting Research Financial Statement Review Attending Industry Meetings / Conferences Leading discussion on accounting policy related matters on new products and complexed transactions nQualificationsn CPA (or equivalent), with at least 10 years of public and private accounting experience in financial services working on investment securities, loans, leases and derivatives with at least 5 years of accounting policy experience and 5 years of public accounting experience (accounting advisory or on call experience is preferred) and expertise of U.S.

GAAP and knowledge of IFRS (Japanese GAAP is a plus but not required).
