Accountant Compensation: DOE Robert Half Finance is currently seeking an experienced, organized Senior Accountant to join their team for a full-time opportunity in the Plano, Texas area.

As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting.

How you will make an impact
– Produce monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
– Partake in various department-wide initiatives
– Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
– Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.

– Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations
– Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
– Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
– Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
– Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP Job Requirements:
– Knowledgeable of ERP systems
– BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
– Great attention to detail
– Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
– Ability to meet deadlines
– Expertise in general ledger
– Quality experience with Prepare Financial Statements
– Well-founded grasp of financial statement preparation
– Proven knowledge of journal entries
– Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
– General familiarity with Analyze Financial Statements
– Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics NAV
– Practical knowledge of Consolidated Financial Statements
– Microsoft Excel experience preferred
– Accounting policy experience
– Prior work done in public accounting is desired
– Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
– 3 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
– Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
– Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
– Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
– Must have excellent time management skills
