Senior Accounting Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Accounting Analyst in Phoenix, Arizona (AZ).

Summary:
This is a senior role within the team and will work extensively with various Managers and Senior Managers within the Corporate Accounting team. Also, the Senior Accounting Analyst will gain exposure and access to various field operations locations. The responsibilities will include more technical areas of accounting work as well as analysis. There is great opportunity to move cross-functionally across multiple corporate accounting teams and disciplines that have various areas of accounting emphasis. Also, great opportunity exists for internal promotion over time as has been demonstrated with previously in the organization, both at corporate headquarters and various field sites.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree education is preferred
• CPA Certification is highly preferred
• Minimum of 5 to 10+ years of strong accounting experience
• Must have strong GAAP accounting exposure within a public company environment
• Previous audit experience within a public accounting firm (with public clients) is preferred
• Must have strong GAAP accounting experience to include various areas of accounting including more technical areas (revenue recognition, estimates and reserves, etc.)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal corporate leadership and field leadership
