Exciting time to join the company and make a differenceJob Responsibilities of Senior Accountant, Technical AccountingAs a Senior Accountant you will report to the Assistant Controller and assist with financial reporting and technical accounting, assist in implementing due accounting standards, and work with external auditors.Specific duties in this Senior Accountant, Technical Accounting role include:Ensuring an accurate and timely monthly and year-end close along with the timely reporting of all monthly financial informationUS GAAP Financial reportingPrepare technical accounting memos and implement any new accounting guidelines in accordance with US GAAPPerform purchase accounting for local and international acquisitionsAssist outside CPA firm with required information for federal, states & local returns and compliance.Working with external auditorsAd-hoc projects.Experience Preferred for the Senior Accountant, Technical Accounting include:B.S. in Accounting3+yrs accounting experience (public accounting highly preferred)CPASolid understanding of accounting processes and procedures and US GAAPStrong knowledge of ASC 805Ability to lead, train and develop staffCompany DescriptionCFS is a leading, employee-owned staffing firm—the largest one founded by CPA firms.
