Senior Accountant (fast track)

Prestigious Asset Manager located midtown is looking for a 2-4 year Fast Track Senior Accountant “Financial Services Pays the highest bonus” My client offers great perks Person must be able to learn and grow Strong presentation and technology skills (ie Excel and or SQL) Candidate will be doing add hoc projects for Owner and Partners of the fund This candidate will be working side by side with the CFO on day to day accounting responsibilities relating to Investment Management /Broker Dealer Industry (Fixed Income Trading) The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and vendor expense management .

My client will mentor and sponsor for Series 6 and 27 license Potential candidate will be working with the COO and the CFO daily Responsibilities Candidate must be strong with Financial Statements ,Journal Entries and Balance Sheets Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes Research and analyze expense variances for management company Qualifications 3 years of professional accounting experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance CPA preferred
