Your role as a Senior Accountant at Movella
As a Senior Accountant you will be playing a key role in monthly / quarterly / yearly close cycles, financial reporting and audits.
Furthermore, you will support the management in completing projects at hand.
You will be part of the corporate finance team and report to the Controller.
Key Challenges:
Assist with driving the monthly closing for three entities and reconcile assigned accounts
Prepare monthly actual vs budget by class reporting
Assist with the monthly consolidation process: publish the monthly foreign currency exchange rate and translate the financials of international subsidiaries from local currency to USD currency
Update proforma financials monthly, or upon request and assist with quarterly investor reporting
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and develop updated forecasts based on ongoing business performance
Assist with the preparation of annual sales and used tax returns and local city and state filing returns
Assist with external audit and footnotes schedule preparation
Conduct the accounting announcement analysis under supervision
Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned

You have:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Two to three years of public accounting or private company accounting work experience
Hands
– on working knowledge of US GAAP reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Business Central accounting system experience a plus
English/Chinese(reading) bilanguage a plus
