Responsibilities:

This position is a Senior Accountant role within the Statutory Reporting Team, which is part of the Controller’s group in the Corporate office.

The primary function of the role is the preparation of quarterly and annual statutory basis financial statements which includes journal entries, footnote disclosures, and financial statement analysis.

This also includes the preparation of separate regulatory filings primarily related to the financial documents, and researching and implementation of new accounting standards.

The role includes preparation of journal entries and analysis related to various reporting areas as part of the Controllers group monthly GAAP close.

This position may require overtime during the year end reporting process and periodically throughout the year.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance (other business degree in combination with strong work experience may be considered)

Prefer professional certification!

(CPA, CMA)

5+ years experience in accounting/financial reporting

Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices
