This is a Contract position in Hialeah, FL posted August 8, 2021.
Primary Responsibilities Using your financial expertise, you will participate in the M&A process from diligence through integration.
You will be required to identify financial risks and valuation implications during the financial due diligence process.
Provide strategic and best practice insights to sponsoring business teams to help them navigate the M&A lifecycle, including accounting for routine and complex accounting and finance issues associated with M&A and investment transactions.
Perform Quality of Earnings Analysis to ensure EBIDTA earnings are sustainable and will translate into cash flow.
Assist auditors with access to confidential financial information, and provides general support as needed for all accounting/finance audits.
Assist with month-end close as needed.
Assist Assistant Controller with other related tasks as needed.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Equivalent CPA designation is a plus Minimum of 5 years of intermediate accounting experience Working knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition is preferred Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Strong working knowledge of fully cycle accounting and financial processes.
Working knowledge of MS Office (Advanced Excel skills required) and financial ERP/general ledger systems.
