Senior Accountant

Our client, a publicly traded global manufacturer, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their rapidly growing team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90,000-$95,000

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the financial close and accurate GAAP and Management reporting for the different business units under their responsibility.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Accurate processing of accruals and journal entries
• Prepare and review forecasts and budget financial data load in the company’s systems
• Prepare reconciliation of GAAP to Management results
• Reconciliation of carious balance sheet accounts, including inventory, accounts receivable, prepaid accounts and intercompany
• Prepare monthly Income Statement and Balance Sheet for a few of the business units
• Support the development of the annual budget and monthly forecast

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Minimum 5 years experience Knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with Infor M3 is a plus
• Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Cost Accounting experience preferred

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
