Senior Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce’s client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Wayland, MA. This client provides education to students with learning differences. They are a non-profit with a great mission, and they offer a lot of PTO including 4 weeks of vacation. After one (1) year of employment, they offer a 403B plan with match. This role will be 100% in office. This client requires a COVID-19 vaccination. • The Senior Accountant will perform accounting functions
• Review and prepare payroll
• Prepare financial reporting
• Prepare and send spending reports
• As a Senior Accountant, you will respond to inquiries from budget managers
• Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist with budget preparation
• Coordinate annual audits
• The Senior Accountant will perform ad hoc analysis and special reports as assigned
• Perform other tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of general accounting/general ledger experience
• Background in the non-profit/education industry is preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
• Strong communication skills
