RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:

• The Senior Accountant will oversee all accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Responsible for preparing financial statements and analysis
• The Senior Accountant will oversee payroll and commissions
• Assist with both audits and taxes
• Manage the general ledger and assist with month-end/year-end close processes
• The Senior accountant will assist the finance and controllership organization in preparing documents and interpreting complicated financial information for managers, executives, and C-suite executives

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with accounting software
• Experience with a software system implementation a plus (particularly Sage Intacct)
• Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel
