Senior Accountant

The ideal candidates will perform the technical accounting aspects of the company’s acquisition of businesses working with strategy, legal, FP&A, and outside advisors.

You will also research accounting literature and apply technical standards to complex business issues and transactions and prepare related memos.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join our team at a critical point in our companys growth.Looking for some details?Monitor and research new GAAP pronouncements; evaluation of impact to the company; assisting in the implementation of accounting documentation of conclusions, processes and policiesFacilitate regular interaction with the external audit team to ensure timely review and approval of accounting conclusionsPrepare formal communications to finance and accounting teams regarding new accounting implementations and policiesEstablish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with finance and accounting partners, executive management and other internal stakeholder groups to understand the business and ensure timely and accurate exchange of informationTeam with FP&A to deliver monthly executive management, debt, and equity reportingManage, maintain and improve internal control processesAssist with ad hoc projects and responsibilities as neededDo you fit our team?Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and a CPA requiredA minimum of 5-7 years accounting and audit experienceBig “4” experience is strongly preferredStrong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of US GAAP, SEC rules & regulations and Sarbanes Oxley regulations, including financial statement disclosure requirementsDemonstrated expertise in appropriate accounting treatment of routine and complex financial transactionsExperience in designing and implementing accounting policiesSolid business acumen with a focus on providing service to the business groupsAbility to integrate and balance priorities, work activities and resources for the benefit of multiple key stakeholders and able to adapt to changeDetail-oriented with demonstrated experience communicating complex issues in a clear and concise manner at the executive levelStrong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute and deliver on projects in a timely manner in a dynamic environmentAbility to build strong working relationships with operations and financial personnelSoftware/SAAS accounting experience preferrednn
