Accountant Compensation: $80000.00 to $95000.00 yearly We are working with a large, global, manufacturing company looking for a Senior Accountant to support one of their local business units.

This will work closely with the Controller on the close process, while also getting involved with P& L, financial statement preparation and analysis, and other support areas.

– Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
– Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
– Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
– Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
– Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
– Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process Job Requirements:
– Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued
– BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
– Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
– Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
– ERP system experience
– Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
– Able to manage time well
– 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience
