The SEC/ External Reporting Analyst- Financial Services, New York will be responsible for supporting the financial reporting team and ensuring that financial statements are SEC, GAAP, and SOX Compliant.

Description
The SEC/ External Reporting Analyst- Financial Services, New York will be responsible for:
- Preparation of 10-K and 10-Q filings
- Preparation of footnote disclosures
- Collection and analysis of Non-GAAP Metrics
- Validating and documenting financial statements
- Assisting filings are SEC, GAAP, and SOX compliant
- Assisting in the maintenance of SOX Controls
- Improving workflows for the financial reporting process
- Maintaining the data collection systems, financial reporting software, and general ledger reports
- Ad Hoc request as needed
Profile
The Successful SEC/ External Reporting Analyst- Financial Services, New York will:
- 2-5 Years of Experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting
- Previously or Current Big 4/ Public Accounting Experience
- CPA or equivalent preferred
