To achieve this, we connect value solutions with the needs of our customers, becoming their strategic partners to add value to their business and help them achieve maximum efficiency.These solutions range from the most complex and strategic negotiations to more tactical and frequent purchases as well as the management of contracts and suppliers.The Vendor Risk Assessment Analyst II is a transformational opportunity to work within the Vendor Risk Assessment Center (VRAC).

This individual will serves as a subject matter expert and partner with our Regulatory Consumer Compliance partners to manage, review risk assessment and recommend new process enhancements in line with audit requirements.

The Vendor Risk Assessment Analyst will also be perform risk assessments thoroughly and timely.

This will require working closely with the Third Parties and business stakeholders and risk partners across Santander.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesVendor Risk AssessmentDelivers industry best practices, tools, guidance, and training related to regulatory consumer compliance practices and standards.

Demonstrates strong subject matter expertise and serves as an authority and credible challenge to management regarding regulatory consumer compliance assessments and risks.Complete regulatory consumer compliance assessments as needed on third parties.

Provides a comprehensive range of risk management expertise.Completes quality assurance validation of regulatory consumer compliance assessment work products.

Relationship ManagementDevelop and sustain meaningful relationships through building trust and rapport with internal Santander stakeholders Partners with Business stakeholders to report on risks from third parties as it relates to regulatory consumer compliance.Represent Santander’s position in front of suppliers, and act as the communication link between Santander and suppliers as neededManagement of issue resolution falling within the scope of the departmentContinuous ImprovementParticipate in the development and the execution of the company internal projects contributing to improvement of the performance of the organizationAt Santander, we value and respect differences in our workforce and strive to increase the diversity of our teams.

We actively encourage everyone to apply.Bachelors degree with a focus on Business Management or other relevant discipline.3-5 years of experience in audit, regulatory consumer compliance and/or assurance assessment.

3-5 years of experience related to risk management and the financial services industry.One of the regulatory consumer compliance and/or Audit certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager (CRVPM), Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) is required or certification is in processFamiliarity with regulatory consumer compliance industry standards and best practices, as well as relevant frameworks and regulations (e.G.

SCRA, TCPA, CFPB, etc).

Strong operational risk management principles, methodologies and tools, governance principles and activity preferably in a financial services technology environmentAbility to independently operate in a complex environment; adept at delivering andmaintaining productive working relationships across business, functions, geographies and lines of defenseAdvanced audit, risk, process, and control validation and/or assessment skillsAbility to handle conflict resolution with other groups to ensure appropriate accounting guidance is followedChange agilityAbility to convey a sense of urgency and drive issues/projects to closureAbility to effectively interact with the market, executive management and vendorsAbility to adapt and adjust to multiple demands and competing prioritiesExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent analytical, organizational and project management skillsPrimary Location:null, Massachusetts, United StatesOther Locations:Rhode Island-,Texas-,Florida-,Massachusetts-Organization:NW Services Co
