Join us!The Opportunity at Komodo HealthKomodo Health is expanding its revenue accounting team to meet our rapid growth. We are looking for a Technical Revenue Accounting Manager that is well versed in all technical aspects of revenue recognition, specifically ASC 606. This person will assist in the completion of our adoption of ASC 606 and directly impact our growth through scaling our contract review and accounting compliance operations to meet the rapidly evolving needs of the business.Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have:* Partnered with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Sales Operations on non-standard contract review to determine revenue impact and provide recommendations to maximize revenue* Researched, evaluated, and prepared technical revenue accounting memos as needed to document deal conclusions and other revenue recognition positions* Built out a monthly and quarterly deal review process, including the relevant templates and checklists* Directly contributed to the successful adoption of ASC 606* Led the continued improvement of the Company’s revenue-related policies as they relate to the contract review and the overall Quote to Cash process* Managed quarterly and annual audits and all related documentation (PBC’s, disclosures, etc.)* Assisted in the implementation of new ERP* Partnered with Sales and Marketing on evaluation of sales incentive programs and other partner programs* Partnered with Product management on roadmap creation and review; assessed new product offerings and go-to-market strategies for technical revenue considerations* Participated in close activities including review of manual entries and account reconciliations* Lead and assist with other special projects, as neededWhat you bring to Komodo:* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance* CPA and Big 4 experience preferred* Progressive experience in revenue recognition in a software and/or SaaS companies* Excellent knowledge of revenue and related pronouncements (ASC 606)* Experienced in writing complex technical accounting position papers* Advance knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint* Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment with attention to details* Collaborative with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels across of the organization* NetSuite, NetSuite ARM and accounting operations experience a plus* Highly analytical with a solutions-based approach to problem solving#LI-remote #LI-TF1Curiosity piqued?
